Faces and Facets of Philadelphia

The Chestnut Hill Historical Society event for this year’s Chestnut Hill Book Festival begins at 7 pm, July 9, at Stagecrafters’ Theater, 8130 Germantown Avenue. Featured are four local authors whose theme for the evening is “Faces and Facets of Philadelphia.”

The authors include James Garrison, Hugh Gilmore, Tom Keels and Mark Sellers. They will cover a variety of topics – historic houses and families in Chestnut Hill and Awbury Park, tales of “Wicked Philadelphia” and musings of an antiquarian book seller on Chestnut Hill. This event is sponsored by Stagecrafters’ Theater and Citibank.

Book signing and light refreshments to follow talk.
