This stone Queen Anne-style dwelling is characteristic of the large, comfortable
homes constructed in Chestnut Hill, and on West Chestnut Hill Avenue, in the
late 19th century.  John Naylor took these photographs in different seasons.
Brockie & Hastings, architects, designed an addition in 1909.  The house at
30 West Chestnut Hill Avenue is visible to the left in one of the photographs
(1970.142).
