Importance of Open Space in an Urban Environment

Andrew
M. Loza, Executive Director of the Pennsylvania
Land Trust Association, will discuss how having open space around
effects our lives, livelihoods and well being. Andrew has served
since 2000 as Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Land Trust
Association where he leads public policy initiatives, develops technical
guidance and implements technical assistance and education programs.
PALTA helps land trusts and other conservation practitioners improve
their effectiveness, build public understanding and advocates for
better governmental policy. This is a joint program of the Chestnut
Hill Historical Society/Friends of the Wissahickon Easement Program.
