CONTRACTOR: J. S. Cornell & Son
This was a very new house when John Naylor captured it
on film.
It was designed later in Wilson Eyre’s career when he had changed
from a more picturesque approach to the popular Colonial
Revival-style that had swept the United States. However, the
design still possesses some of the irregular massing that is
characteristic of his early work although now in an a neo-18th
century style. Bolton, Martin & White, architects, designed
a
garage
in 1955. The original brick pillars are still standing
today.
